You’ll get to experience the best of Morocco on this 12-days trip. Along with Tangier, Chefchaouen and Volubilis we are going to see Meknes, Fez, and Marrakech as the Imperial Cities of Morocco. In addition, the stunning blue city of Chefchaouen and the Rif Mountains are also on our vacation.
Our 12 days-journey will take us to the Moroccan Sahara Desert, where you are going to spend a night in deep Erg Chebbi sand dunes and witness one of the most breathtaking sunsets in the world.
The hollywood’s favorite filming spot, Ait Ben Haddou is another stop on our nine-days itinerary. Ait Ben Haddou is a popular location for Hollywoods movies, and amazing Moroccan clay architecture. As we are going to explore the red city of Marrakech, Essaouira and Casablanca.

12 Days Morocco package Tour, from Tangier northern central Morocco, Sahara Desert and back to Tangier.
Day 1: Tangier:
Upon your arrival to Tangier, our assistant ‘driver’ meets you with warm welcome. Well, as soon as we meet you, our journey starts with a short visit of bride of the north ‘Tanger’. Overnight in a charming Riad/Hotel.
Day 2: Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen:
After having your tasty breakfast, we start our day towards Chefchaouen. We will drive to the blue city via Tetouan crossing Rif Mountains. Get to Chefchaouen and check into your hotel. Later on, you are having free afternoon to hang out discovering the beauty of blue washed streets. Night in a charming Riad/Hotel.
Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fez:
Having your breakfast and get ready to leave Chefchaouen to Fez. Our route will take us through numerous places to immerse in. We will drive through a range of mountains that lead us to Roman Volubilis ruins which date back to 3rd century BC.
Here, a guide will accompany you to discover the mosaics and the left ruins that show the greatness of Berbers and Romans in a certain period of time. After so, we go ahead to Meknes to give a short break and meanwhile to explore the town. By late afternoon, we continue to Fez for accommodation.
Day 4: Fez sightseeing:
After your breakfast as a habit, we will start exploring Fes as one of oldest cities in Morocco with narrow alleys. This starts firstly by visiting the Royal Palace gate and the Jewish headquarter, the first Mellah ever that was built in Morocco during the 16th century.
Next, we see the famous Al Qaraouine University, tanneries, the Attarine museum and Moulay Idriss mausoleum. Afterwards, you will visit the tiles fabrication and will experience a wonderful panoramic view overlooking the whole Medina of Fes. Overnight in your Riad in Fez.
Day 5: Fez – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Gorges – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Sahara Desert:
In the morning we pick you up from the hotel driving to Sahara Desert. Today, will be different because we cross the middle and high Atlas Mountains heading to Sahara Desert. So, after a short drive from Fez we will be in Ifrane (called small Switzerland of Morocco) for a short break, the area is well known for its abundant wildlife like Barbary Apes…etc.
Then we will continue to Merzouga sahara desert through the fascinating views like Ziz Gorges, Ziz valley with dates palm trees and Erfoud as the capital of fossils and dates. After riding camels across Erg Chebbi dunes, overnight in desert camp.
Day 6: Sahara Desert sightseeing:
A visit to Morocco without being in Sahara Desert and a camel ride is definitely incomplet, therefore, today is dedicated to be spent just in desert area. We will take you around visiting nomad families living in tents with their animals to see how really life is tough but happiness anyway.
Then, we go to Khamlia “Gnawa village” black people originated from sub-saharian countries, but because of segregation and mal-treatment they escaped and settled first like nomads and working for other people, but today they have their spiritual authentic music to enjoy with.
After we have lunch, we take you to your desert hotel check in. And then the rest of the day is free.
Day 7: Merzouga Sahara Desert – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley:
After breakfast as usual, we will start our journey towards Dades Valley passing through Rissani where to make a stop for a short walk discovering its hidden corners. If it is the day market, we will have a walk through its streets to see the local lifestyle.
The day market takes places 3 times a week « Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday ». And then a traditional system of irrigation that is locally called Khettara is also going to be among one of our stops. Beside this, Todra Gorges is a high spot for a walk. After this, we continue to Dades Valley for overnight.
Day 8: Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Hadou – Marrakech:
Leave Dades valley and drive to Marrakech via the Rose valley, and African Hollywood (Ouarzazate city) where many movies have been shooted. Then we go ahead to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the oldest exotic historical land in Morocco, and a UNESCO world heritage site. Afterwards, we continue to Marrakech via High Atlas Mountains. Arrive to Marrakech and night in a charming Riad.
Day 9: Marrakech Sightseeing:
After breakfast in your Riad, we start our journey sightseeing the city of Marrakech “the red city of Morocco”, it was founded in the XII century by Almoravidian dynasty. We will insist on to see the most important cites on cultural and historical heritage. You will have great chance to visit Saadiyin Tombs, Majorelle Gardens, and Koutoubia Tower.
Moreover, our guide will lead you to see Bahia square, the Souk of the city, and then you go to join the famous square of the medina where you will see and discover the fascinating serpent’s magician, “funny seminars” where some professional or humorous people tell fabulous and nice jokes, riddles…On the afternoon, you will have free time to walk around and discover other places of the city by yourselves.
Day 10: Day trip to Essaouira from Marrakech:
Essaouira is considered as an escape site from stress and busy life of Marrakesh. So, we want to take you to such a nice town with a beautiful beach. We start from Marrakech heading to Essaouira. Our day trip will take us through numerous villages scattering alongside the road with beautiful sceneries of Argan trees and to see the goats in trees.
We arrive to Essaouira and have free time to walk around the medina and its alleys. In the afternoon, we pick you up back to Marrakech.
Day 11: Marrakech – Casablanca – Rabat:
As usual after your breakfast, we will drive you towards Rabat “current capital of Morocco” via Casablanca “economic capital”. Before heading to Rabat, we go to Casablanca to visit the Hassan II Mosque, which is the biggest mosque in Africa and then after lunch we continue our way to Rabat. In Rabat, before checking to our hotel, we will visit Hassan Tower, Mohammed V Mausoleum (where the kings are buried) and Oudaya Kasbah. Overnight in Rabat.
Day 12: Rabat – Tangier International Airport:
Transfer to the airport depending on your flight time. Our services end here.
